[Mk2] [NA] Looking for a Sub and box

Post by slinky79 »

I have been looking for ages for 2 sub and boxes (or even 1 will do 2 start off with) to go behind the drivers and passenger seat in my 1996 mr2. Anyone got any for sale. Again even 1 sub and box would be REALLY GOOD!!!!!!!! as the normal speakers don't do me any justice. Cheers :-k

Hi

theses boxes are made by me and are in black

i have 2 x 10" boxes but you have to cut the wells out the back (they are only spot welded and i've done this to 2 cars no issues). I can do this for you takes about 30 mins (i will also screw them into the car so no movement with full rust prevention)

Once you have done this allow you to have full recline with seats hense the design. Not like the others

They also have 2 alpine kevlar subs rms 500 (no peak value as a peak value as is pathetic and for noobs). I also have 2 x alpine digital amps and together will rip your car apart on max together.

If you want the setup i could come round and fit depending on distance.

I've been fitting ice for over 15 years

This is what I fitted for him I am a bad influence as it went from a sub in box to have comps and two amps as well.
This is what I found when I removed the door trims badly fitted speakers 2 screws and a gap round the outside !!

I put in some Kenwood mids with mdf spacers with fli crossovers and tweeters all with ofc wire

Then made up a frunk amp board and wired it in

Fitted a sub in enclosure behind the passenger seat

Then put the amp board in and the alpine headunit and had a listen

It sounds nice good staging and the bass has a nice thump.
