Advice needed re Value

Post by Ed »

I've been selling off all my performance parts and now it's time to sell the MR2 however I could do with some advice as to how much I may get for it.

The car is a 93 L reg turbo t-bar with 80000 miles

The engine is standard other than an HKS SSQV and Apex air filter. It also has never missed a beat and has been regularly maintained.

The colour is red although the paint has faded on the bonnet, roof and engine cover but I am going to try and improve the look of that.

Other than the paint the only other bad parts are that the front bumper is an unpainted Revision 6 one that needs repair (circa £100) the starter motor will need replacing and there is a small dent above the passenger rear light

The interior is fairly standard with cloth trim.

The car has an 11 months to run on the MOT which it sailed through with no advisories and it has 3 months left of tax.

Any advice on the value to try to sell it for are welcome.

Cheers

Ed

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of your car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of your car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.

£1500 ono. Saw a mint zircon blue NA go for £1700 last week, unfortunalty this is the price they are going for. May be worth your while to detail the car and make it look as mint as possible, you may get more then.
That price is also witha good service record, a full toyota one will get you more.

Should have said mines a turbo T-bar.

I was looking to get £1750 for it so sounds like in the right ballpark.
