Abrupt throttle?

The first touch of my accelerator pedal is very abrupt - feels like a switch rather than a progressive increase. The rest of the movement is perfectly normal, but I can't for the life of me drive the car smoothly with the throttle the way it is!!!

It's not sticking (there is no delay in response, no "dead" movement) and I am looking for advice as to whether there could be an easy fix?

Check your TPS for the correct settings, sometimes the TPS or the throttle stop screw can alter due to vibration, so will need setting up again , Jinxy
