just felt really left out so........

- Under the front bonnet, o/s behind the headlight there's a red knob with + and - on it - what is this for?

Manually raises/lowers the headlights

- My headlights are AWFUL. Is this common, or just crap bulbs?

Very common. [Laughing]

Check the lenses and reflectors for deterioration. New ones are about £12 from Toyota I believe.

If they're ok/when you replace them get a set of Osram Silverstar bulbs, they are the shizzle. [Laughing] [thumleft]

- When I turn the headlight switch to 'full beam' the dipped beams go out, and it all goes dark. Where is the full beam bulb?

Full beam bulb is part of the same bulb, are you pushing in and turning the switch on the side or pushing the indicator stalk away? [Think]

- Either I'm being really stupid here and missing the obvious, but where the bloody hell is the dipstick?!

Rear right of the engine, near the alternator.
