What to put in the space below the stereo

I was originally going to get a double din stereo but going off the idea now. Not sure i like the space below the stereo so what are my options of things to put in there. I've seen cupholders and something with temp gauges in it. Just wondered what other members had used the space for.

You can buy a small storage space that fits to the radio using the mounting brackets.

I've got a boost gauge cut into a din blanking plate, looks almost oem.

Just not a wallet and a packet of fags as that pretty much fills it and you cant get them out again
