If your worried about it, dont buy a turbo

Turbo = anything from 100miles to a tank to 250 if you drive like a nurse.

N/A beats Turbo.

Hope that helps.

I get 32mpg from my rev 3 turbo, but that's because I do 75% of my mileage at a steady 70mph. Equates to about 280 miles per tank (well, 40 litres to fill back up anyway)

TBH the mpg will be the least of your worries, but its all in the right foot, I have had 250 miles out of the tank pretty regular, using it as a everyday car off boost to work/back.

Not being funny but must depend on the condition of the engine in some respects, i can fill my tubby up and drive half the tank booting it around at 17psi and the other half motorway driving and still see 250 miles to a tank, had nearly 300 miles mostly motorway driving before!

I just got exactly 35mpg on a full tank in my turbo, no town driving just good clear fast A roads. Or about 20mpg around town and local driving.

I've owned both and the N/A was better on mpg than my tubby, BUT it wasn't as much fun to drive   \:D/
However, as said previously, it's all about the right foot, or not, as the case may be. Drive the tubby "sensibly" through the gears etc and you will get enough mpg out of her so that when you want to "kick" that turbo in  you don't have to worry  \:D/ :thumleft:

if your after miles per gallon get a small kia. my neighbour is always going on about it when im washing my car. 70mpg..... like i care. i drive a turbo cos i like the punch, i wish it was economical, but it isnt. i know this doesnt answer your question but na versus turbo is not a good comparison. na mr2's are still quick and are more economical but drive a turbo and you will understand why we sacrifice fuel economy.

Just filled up, I managed 265 miles from the previous tankful (gen3 tubby), this included lots of spirited driving, about 50 miles on a motorway and a fair bit of town driving. Good enough for me!

I just managed to get 280 from £40 @ 102.9p a litre on v-power on a long journey however i kicked its ar$e on almost every roundabout and junction and 50odd miles was towns...i was surprised to say the least as the tank wasnt even brim full....and its rev1 engine running breathing mods ARC IC and a bit more boost! :thumleft:
