well i was thinking of putting it on ebay for £500 to start with and see how it goes from there, the way the market is at the moment if you bid £500 you will probley win it at that, i do think i need to list it on ebay to recoop as much money as pos.
i will try and get it on ebay tonight.

If you think he'll get it for £500 on eBay due to lack of interest, it'd make a lot more sense to sell it directly and avoid giving eBay their (several tens of) pound of flesh. eBay's final value fees are very high at the moment - motors have different limits but £500 will see you forking out nearly £50 for the benefit of using the site.
Your first acceptable offer is your best offer, as we used to say in the trade. If you'd got a car that you might think was worth £1000, cost you £500, and someone wandered in with £650, you took it - otherwise you'd be staring at that motor for the next few months in all probability.

Yeah, totaly agree, if you think you want £500 and someone offers £500 then take it rather than getting £470 through eBay! Wasn't aware imoc was now an auction site?!

i was asking if £500 would get an intrest not that i want £500, geting them intrested is the hardest bit. i know its risky but thats lifeSteve Horrocks wrote:Yeah, totaly agree, if you think you want £500 and someone offers £500 then take it rather than getting £470 through eBay!
