3j6 paint.. wheres the cheapest place to buy??

as title suggests. 3j6 red paint. ive checked halfrauds and they dont do it off the shelf. they can make it but its 10 quid for 300ml cans which seems expensive compaired to the on the shelf stuff.

so any ideas wheres cheap for it?

on another note. if i got a compressor. where do you get the paint for it? im guessing it doesnt come in cans from halfrauds.

Only ever got it from Halfords myself mate, but I have also only used small amounts.

Sure a good body shop will be able to supply.

hi mate i was in halfrauds the other day for the same paint as you want and got it made in the cans but you can get it made for your spray gun there as well

You cant buy solvent based paints no more, its all water based, which is a bit of a pain in the ass cos the drying time is a lot longer, needs to be done in a proper heated booth, and you need a decent gun with a 1.3mm nose on it, not the crappy £60 guns from halfords. On a plus side though, you get a lovely finish with water base.
what you spraying anyway? if its only something small your beter off getting the colour made up in a rattle can, but personaly i wouldnt use halfords for that either.
