Tyre profile difference ?

I'm planning on putting the rear wheels from my 2000 model onto the front ,and fitting face-lift rears ,this means the front tyre profile will be 55 and the rears 45 , I will finish up with ,fronts 205/55/15 rears 225/45/16, good or bad plan ? shall i just stick with standard face-lift sizes? Reason...

I bet theres plenty of prefacelift owners ,that would swap all the bits over,so your newer car looks like the older car

If the speedo's been converted cheap also you might be abke to make out blackmarks on it. I have an image in my head now of a speedo with 10 20 30 scrawled in sharpy pen round the face =; Thinking about it - thats probably what I'd get if I asked my Mr T main dealer to convert the speedo! I fitted ...

Ok then all I can say is you will have to trace the wires from the switch to find out where its going. My car has the facelift rear lights ,and a bodykit front bumper ,ive read that the early cars had no wiring for front fogs ,but my import has the switch and fus...

Purely cosmetic reasons ,the wheels have been painted black, and i dont think they suit the car ,but they might grow on me
i haven't got the car yet so cant comment on the handling

just after some feedback on what wheels can be fitted

Yes, Japanese cars have them the correct way around, UK cars are backwards. Also the scale on the speedo is different.


In what way do you mean the wrong way round ?
