[Mk2] [NA] Speedo problem
So my speedo packed in just before I took the car off the road for winter.
I replaced the sender unit, nothing.
Replaced the dash, still nothing.
Anyone got any ideas?

[Mk2] [NA] What rear spoiler?
I changed the original MK1 rev2 spoiler to a MK3 rev2.
Is there really anything to be gained downforce wise fitting a Rev 5?

There's very little chance it's popped a core plug out. I assume it had antifreeze in it? Chances are the thermostat is stuck closed. Remove thermostat housing, remove thermostat. Put it all back together and see how you get on. If it works fine (albeit taking longer to get up to temp) then replace...

So i took the battery of trickle charge and fitted it today to start he car nd get some fluids moving and any moisture dried off. I already have over 12 moisture absorbers in the interior btw. Fitted battery and it starts up first time, let it idle and get up to running temp. However, temp gauge ris...

Re: Beams engine in UK 93 rev2 non turbo.
Thanks mate,
Back to the beams for a bit, can this just be dropped in plug and play?
Or what if anything needs changed?
I know I keep going on about different engines but there are so many different options, reasons, benefits and such.

Is the 2gr 3.5 not a lot more hassle to fit and get sorted properly?

Re: Question about Arch rolling / cutting...
I've had a lot of arhes rolled on many of my cars, biggest problem to raise it's ugly head has been the rust a yea or two later.:( I am about to get the lip cut away and the arches pulled out as much as is safe. Yes I know this reduces rigidity but at least you can have a better go at rust proofing ...

What width/offset and tyre size for the fronts?

What horror stories bud?
I used to put a cover over my evo every night if it wasn't in the garage.
Mind you. I was in Liverpool!

Re: Harness without rollcage
I've had harnesses and a rear/full cage in lots of my cars. I always kept the standard belts as well so I had the choice. Just having harnesses and no belts is a real pain in the ar$e for reasons already stated. I have harnesses set up with the roller inertia thing from normal seat belts but for the...

You are looking at £1000 for a programmed ecu from Lotus. I went for a lotus wiring harness as well. The supercharger price depends on whether you can find one. Plus there are other numerous parts that soon add up. https://www.deroure.com/diagrams.asp?MAK=1&MDL=20&TBL=6725&SMA=&SMO=...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Temp gauge.
Took the car out today and it sat two increments off the bottom all morning.
Took it out later and it climbed to halfway and stayed there perfectly.
Seems like an airlock perhaps?

[Mk2] [NA] Temp gauge.
This problem with my temp gauge has come back. The gauge seems to vary position randomly, sometimes fine for a day or two at halfway, other days sits at quarter and then halfway between quarter and halfway. The needle doesn't jump around or fluctuate frequently it just seems to pick and choose where...
