Take care with the nut on the inside, the stud is about 2" long and if your not carefull you lose the nut. You need very small hands and all fingers to be double jointed to get it back
Hold off for a short while, i work for a heat exchanger company and am waiting for a price on the core matrix. I sent my old unit as a sample to a company who make the cores today. Should be a lot cheaper than getting from the US and will be a direct replacement!

Decided to get them from toyota, only because they said I could have them next day. Went to pick them up and they hadnt been delivered

It was meant to be my daily drive so i could take my ford probe off the road and work on that.
Bought a import MK2 auto for £200 as apparantly all it needed was the water pump replacing, it came with the new pump and new belts which was nice! The guy I bought it off decided to remove the oil sump and exhaust downpipe for some strange reason. Also the sills are in a pretty bad way - hence £200...
