Hi does anyone know what a safe boost pressure would be to run on a stock engine and turbo. I have heard that rings are good to 1.2bar?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] loss of boost
Even with fdc disconnected im still getting a lean missfire under load and complete loss of power like a fuel cut. And when fcd is connected stock boost gauge goes to max with ignition on with engine off. I am getting 2.5volt signal with no vacuum and it drops to 1.3volts with about a 1 bar vacuum. ...

Re: mr2 mk2 fcd issues
Misfire under load is normally ignition related. So disconnect FCD, and sort misfire first. I assume you know when you last replaced the service components, i.e. plugs, cap and arm? If not, or there is any doubt, get them replaced. Also, leads and coil degrade as they age. Ok thanx I was told that ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Turbocharging pressure sensor - code 35
Yeah it is indeed, HKS Fuel Cut Defender, taps into the signal wire from the turbocharging (boost) sensor to the ecu, modifies the signal to change fuel cut from ~12 psi to ~17psi, in-conjunction with an electronic boost controller currently set to 14 psi. Hi I have same issue I have developed misf...
