Ha, I have to 'drain' my ns door as water collects in the rubber trim at the bottom. I've heard the little drainage channels along the top can block, however I've never looked myself.
Each to their own Wilkiz, your certainly not the only one with that mindset :) Thanks Nic, Mullen & Shinny for your insights on the dials. Whilst it doesn't bother me too much at night, on dull days and morning/evenings I often find myself frustrated at the lack of dial illumination. Definitely ...
For anyone interested in the smoothed scuttle and other goodies (including aeroware lip) - http://www.carbenfibrecreations.co.uk/store/index.php ^ maybe flogging a dead horse with that but I'm sure it may be of interest to somebody who missed it first time round. Stu - was the steering wheel badge a...
Mullen - Would you recommend the eBay crystals? I'm keen on a set of raybrigs myself. Am I right in thinking later mk1's, some celicas and some hiluxes share the same lenses?
A lot of people spend a serious amount of time and money on their motors on here so try and keep the comments respectful. I'm really liking the clear rear lenses on both the early and later Rev light clusters. Definitely a subtle mod that updates the look of the car no end. I've already made an enqu...

As for the rears. I like the rev1/2 rear clusters so I'll keep them. These look great =P~ http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=182797 I saw those earlier Matt. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't very impressed. Is wolfie still producing the clear lenses? As for the front lense in thomps pictur...
I remember reading on here a while back something about using some Volvo arms and washers. Could be wrong as it was a long time ago. I'll avoid the aeros then :) Yes the lights are definitely next on my agenda, my stocks are so dim I almost can't see lol. I think clear sides and raybrig headlights w...
As the title suggests, what have you guys done to your cars to 'modernise' them a little and get them looking a bit more up to date and current? Having sorted my pressing mechanical issues and flying through an mot I'm now looking to 'freshen' the car up a bit. This could be anything from upgrading ...
'One mature lady owner' - this statement always really bugs me. So the clutch has probably been ridden to hell and back & there's probably been next to no basic home checks and maintenance carried out in it's ownership... Furthermore her obvious lack of understanding in the current mr2 market is...
I see this motor almost daily.
Also within 1/2mile is a dark dark green rev3 and both a red rev1 & purple wrapped rev2 owned by a fellow enthusiast 'Nik' who sold me some wheels last week
How much of a pain is it to do the piston boots too? In Toyota now so may as well order them and return if unneeded The piston boots aren't too bad. It's essentially removing the pistons and replacing the boots and retaining clips. If they havnt been done before it's shocking how bad it can look do...
Most people stick with dot4 unless they have uprated brakes and/or track their cars. Having recently refurbed my brakes I'd recommend Camskill for the slider bolts as they're a lot cheaper than toyota. Also, if your replacing boots etc why not pop the pistons out and give them a good clean and repla...
I'll have a look Martin, I wasn't aware they could crack around that area. A recon would be a last resort really. I've thrown so much money at getting things up to scratch I'm a bit reluctant to spend another £100+ . I'm wondering wether an internal seal has failed around the handbrake mechanism and...
