Re: Designing my own NA exhaust - project.

Look forward to seeing the progress!

Hope you get exactly what your after or other wise there wouldn't be any point in going custom.

Is it worth getting a price for it first? If it does come astronomically dear, then maybe you could get a brand new TRD exhaust?

Good luck! :thumleft:

MK2 Rev3 NA Lightened Flywheel?

New clutch time is fast approaching. Now i'll be going with an OEM clutch and replacing the clutch line with a braided one. Whilst the clutch is being replaced, would it be worth buying and having a lightened flywheel installed with it aswell? If they even make a massive difference? From what i know...

How about standard pads from Toyota? Would they not be up for the job?

Re: Repainting of the original Mk1b wheels - to powder coat or not?

May be worth searching around for a Powdercoaters. There is a place not too far from me that will do 15'' wheels at £15 each in a standard colour. Now £60 isn't a lot for 4x wheels to look new and stay in good condition. I've painted wheels before myself and it's cost me around £60 to buy the paint,...

Re: Cooling system cleaning products - of help or just hoax?

Do you not have to have taxi details to back up your request for discount? 30% would save me a fair bit over the next few months! Never really ask for details to be honest! With consumables we have more profit margin than specially ordered in items. We also have targets to hit for selling consumabl...

Re: Cooling system cleaning products - of help or just hoax?

Genuine Toyota coolant is a red-translucent colour. The pink Toyota coolant is for the newer models, mainly for Hybrids. Toyota parts departments normally do pretty decent discount on consumables if bought with other other consumables. For example a complete service kit. Or you could ask for taxi dr...

Re: Fast Road Tyres?

Looks like i'm going to need deep pockets then! I'm thinking maybe, 195/50/15 Michelin Pilot PE2 for the front 225/50/15 Toyo T1-R for the rear See how i get on with that. It seems to be the only best fast road combination i can come up with without spending too much on tyres. I can always try 205 f...

Re: Black 1993 - MR2 Rev 3 N/A - 'Tin Top' - Offers welcome

Annoying Points: Advise softer spring set (full set = £120 from BC Racing) - Nothing wrong with them but the front driver side spring turns slightly (esp when damp), it makes a clunging/twang sound sometimes (we can't see why). The spring noise seems to have gone now that it's lubed :thumleft: That...

Fast Road Tyres?

I've just managed to score some cheap Rev5 wheels as my new summer wheels, but they need a full set of tyres. I do plan to do quite a bit of fast road and a couple of trackdays. I've had a search but i'm not satisfied with the results i've found. 195/50/15's front don't seem to be a problem. I'd pro...

Re: MK2 Instrument Cluster Bulb

They're standard 501 bulbs. If you're swapping bulbs, you could always fit LED bulbs that will give you a better lgiht and won't fade or burn out. I find the ones that have a single flat array of LEDs are best - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350609959864 (Do NOT swap the low fuel warning light for an L...
