as the car died on way to work, wouldn't restart. Had someone bring a fresh battery out to me and that got me to work. the 3 warning lights are on all the time. charge battery every night. battery is fine.

Can get a shot of one but mines reading fine on anything else I try.

Ay that fuse is fine to.

Will need to check eveything again but already went round everything a few times and it was the same.

Yeah fuse is fine. Just checking ignition relay, according to BGB the should be continuity between pins 1 and 3, my meter dosent beep, shows 68 ohms between them. Could this be the issue? It's getting about 0.2v, tried earthing in a few different places, same anywhere I try. Car has been running just won't charge.

Across the terminals of ECU-IG fuse I'm only getting 0.2v, so break must be further up.

Where does the wire end up from from the fuse box, looks like the loom goes into the cabin at the end of the fuel tank?

I have continuity between pin on plug for b/y wire on alt to the plug in fusebox on the thick b/y wire. But I'm only getting 0.4v at the alternator plug.

How do I get to the bottom of the fuse box? Have taken brackets and clip off but its held by something, can move it enough to see underside.

My rev 2 turbo has a cheap stainless manifold fitted by P/O, it has cracked.

Want to fit a standard manifold, I have a couple from my old GT4s, but they are both 7 stud, rev 2 head is 9 stud.

Will a 7 stud manifold fit a 9 stud head?

Car is not charging battery, checked 3 pin plug with ign on, found one pin to be at 0v (think it is black and yellow wire nearest the floor).

Where does the wire go? Looks like it goes into the loom at the intake manifold. Is there anywhere it usually breaks?

Had one in my old GT4, blew the manifold and turbo gaskets.
May have caused the turbo oil seals to fail as well.
Still have the BeeR, don't know if i'll fit it to MR2 though.

OK thanks for that, I thought the sensor went to the ECU.

Fitted a speedo converter to my car (Rev 2), it hasnt made any difference to reading, its still in KPH.
The instructions with the unit say to wire it in at the gearbox sensor, I wired it at the ECU.
Does it make any difference where I have wired it? Thought it was the same signal wire at the ECU?

I need a switched 12v feed in the boot for my converter, want to use ECU 12v.
I have have a pin out diagram for ECU but cant find 12v.
Its a '92 rev 2 turbo.
Can anyone help?

I have a link for page I found info on capacitors, wont let me post it, google 'MR2 capacitor' and its the top result. The counter moves properly now, but when it gets power, it thinks 1K rpm is zero.

Il try giving it power, taking off needle and moving to zero.

Rev counter on my rev 2 turbo is over reading by about 1000rpm. It had speedhut dial backings when I got it., dont know if a P/O had taken the needle off to fit, I didnt to remove. It was hardly working at all untill I replaced the capacitors. Is there a way to zero it or do I have to take the needl...
