Re: Black rev 3

Especially when the nose of the car bounces off the floor when you take it off because it was too damn low at the time Oh yes, i can relate to that! Btw when i said: 'and got the t shirt' I actually meant it. Bought it off ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-MR2-Mk2-Breakdown-Retro-T-shirt-/2208...

Re: dash bulbs

Don't forget, the led bulbs will only work one way.
So if any don't work after fitting them.....take them out and turn them 180% and then refit.

Re: Coolant Hoses

Hi Mav, Does anyone have the big coolant hose that goes from the thermostat housing to the passenger side of the car? Is the one you are after, the larger hose in the pic below? If so, i've a new one sitting in the garage going to waste. I bought a full set when i replaced my radiator, but never got...

Re: Southwest meet

It's a great central meeting point which is very easily accessible from the motorways... Thoughts? Just figured it gave us some flexibility depending on the weather and what people feel like. Plus meeting at a shopping centre means that if people bring partners they can wander off giving us all a g...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] SPEEDO PLASMA WHITE DIAL KIT

If your speedo has a rest pin for the needle.... then these dials won't work.
My Rev3 has a rest pin, so i'm thinking that a Rev2 would have one as well.
But this will need to be confirmed by someone with a Rev2 as i've never seen a speedo from a Rev2.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] SPEEDO PLASMA WHITE DIAL KIT

I nearly bought these dials for my Mr2.
But after seeing this:

Please note! this kit is for the later model MR2 so will not fit the model with a rest pin on the speedo dial

I decided not to buy them as my speedo has a rest pin for the needle.

Re: Immobiliser won't let me start the car

All sorted now. The auto electrian stripped out the immobiliser and checked all the wiring and replaced what he thought was dodgy. Even sorted out my speaker wires which were loose. So not just a safe car now.... a better sounding stereo. lol Btw: it was a Microscan Pro 400 that had been fitted........

Re: Immobiliser won't let me start the car

Well waiting for the back up battery to die, didn't work. Thought i'd take a look myself, so took out the dashboard panels to have a look. OMG what a mess! Looks like most of the connections were made in about 15 seconds. Obviously the immobiliser dashboard light wiring wasn't quite long enough.... ...

Re: Immobiliser won't let me start the car

As I know it's a public forum, I won't post the information here, but hopefully something that you can use via PM (as long as that's allowed? Mods tell me if not, don't want to go breaking rules Can i just add here that i'm not looking for an illegal way to break into the immobiliser. Just a way to...
