Re: 4AGE distributor less ignition
Currently I use 2 of the 7MGTE coil packs using a wasted spark setup from my AEM. I believe that the individual 7M coils are the same as the 4AGZE DLI just there are 3 of them in total and the bracket to house them is different as a result. I also used two ignitor packs from single coil st182 Celica...

Re: Upgraded Engine Parts
Yea I found out the hard way,

It turns out that it seems to only be common knowledge in the states and aussie land I found out after much searching.

Good luck with the build.

Re: Upgraded Engine Parts
Hi, Just read your posts, I love the fact you want to keep the 4age, I feel the same way about mine. On my engine build I ended up using Pauter X-beam rods with Arias pistons. The reason for using X-Beam was due to the original H-Beams ones I bought hitting the block when turning the crank. Rather t...

Re: Oil Advice for 4AGTE help please
Hi again, Thanks for all the replies, happy with the oil choice now, thanks for resting my mind on that. I fired the car up this morning, first chance ive had in a while, i left the toyota o-ring in and warmed it up without the oil cap on. i thought this would make a huge temporary breather, and no ...

Re: Oil Advice for 4AGTE help please
Thanks for the quick reply, didnt think about adding a breather tap off to the exhaust cam cover, will try that i think. ive always wondered why the 4age dosnt have one on each like alot of engines and it does seem to breath quite heavy. if that fails ill look for a thicker o ring, just seems odd th...

Re: Help needed 264in/256ex 11:2 cr engine, hesitation.
I done away with the T-VIS system on my 4AGTE, i had the face of the inlet manifold built up and machined flat agin so that it mated straight onto the head. i didnt want it in the way for running high boost etc. when i was running in my engine we made the ignition map very safe so as not to risk any...

Re: 4AGTE Project now on the road
Thanks,

ive used a cast manifold ment for the corrola, had to make up a spacer between the manifold and the turbo to lift the turbo higher because it fouled with the cylinder head.

Re: Mongoose Exhaust tip Vibrations
Its hitting the tow loop on the bumper, mine did.

go back to the join between the back box and the downpipe and twist the joint to piont the backbox down a little more.
This should solve it.
