[Mk2] [Turbo] Strange knock sensor problem

Hi guys, wonder if you might have done ideas on this. My Rev2 turbo runs at 14psi (ct20b, bolt ons, 99ron fuel etc). Last month I suddenly got error code 52 - knock sensor. Thought this was strange as I've not changed anything on the car for at least a year. Anyway, I replaced the knock sensor, rese...

It's worth whatever you can sell it for.

I would never ask the audience what it's worth.

Re: Rev 5 gts turbo

Why haven't the mods taken this off yet? Does the seller think we're stupid? It's an insult to advertise that car as a 'pristine example'. Rotting leaves in the engine bay, a plant growing in it, a shoddily replaced front bumper from a Rev1. Any why hasn't the seller come forward to answer the quest...

Re: 1992 Turbo MR2 Very Very fast!!!!!!

Most likely only pushing out 200bhp like all stock Rev1/2 tubbies.

What boost are you running?

Stock cooling and original turbo unit?

Re: Ford Focus RS Mk2

Evo magazine dyno'd one and it only produced 280ish bhp. At 1500kg and fwd, I think a stock rev3 tubby shouldn't have any issues.

But seeing as you can get various states of tune for as little as £1000, I wonder how many are standard.

I remember when this first appeared on Newera. I was very tempted but it was just outside of my budget.

Anything that's come through Newera is normally

Good luck with the sale. She looks awesome.

Army green MR2 - Banstead, Surrey

Was in the petrol station when I heard the spool of a massive turbo. I turned to see an army-green coloured MR2 tubby boot it past. Think you had scoops too.

Sounded meaty

Re: A few driving videos

Those 4 vids are just ridiculous. Pees me off just watching them. I've been driving for 14 years and have only ever had 1 accident which was my fault (in my 2nd year of driving). My MR2s have been hit 4 times, none of which were genuinely not my fault. Makes me think seriously about rigging up a cam...

Awesome!

I spend a lot of time watching mental Supra vids on YouTube.

Taught a lesson by a people carrier!

Well, almost... Sitting at the lights when I see a blue Vauxhall Zafira VXR pull up next to me: http://www.smartlease.co.uk/zafira-vxr3.jpg The chap revs the engine and I can hear he must have some sort of bore exhaust on it. I don't bother prepping for a quick launch because, well, it's a people ca...

Just because of how it behaved when it was in the car. Really agressive, shuddering when cold, locking the inside wheel. Matt at Rogue Motorsport also remarked that it didn't handle like a stock diff.
