Re: My new wheels....

Looks great!

I do prefer the spoiler down though, but just personal preference.

Get a re map, circa £400 and 500bhp and circa 500 talks, bargain!

Re: My new wheels....

Mr2 is as garage 300bhp. Its because of weight and the tip box in the 911 like Ekona said Standard 911 turbo = 262 bhp per tonne Modified MR2 Turbo = 230 bhp per tonne And the 911 pulls past the mr2 like you would imagine given there is really only 30 bhp difference, but the 911 has way more talk. I...

Re: My new wheels....

Hey all Update on Mr2 turbo vs 911 Turbo. Had the 911 about 4 weeks now and had it mapped to 500bhp and 512 talks. However I ran it against the mr2 pre map to see how the mr2 would fair. I have to say the mr2 is a very underated car. Bloody hell its quick off the line! I was in Porsche with a good (...

Have you left yours standard?

Do I want a 2002 onwards? Been told there was a facelift, dash and not sure what else?

Re: 996 911 Turbo

Nice.

Test drove a manual the other day. Felt quick. Surprised how silent it was though. I wanted it to sound a bit better when giving it some.

Are the standard exhausts stainless steel? A milltek looks to be the best option but is mega bucks!

996 911 Turbo

Right Sadly after 10 years, I think the time has come to move on from the mr2. For a long time I have always fancied a 911, especially the famed "Turbo". It was when I started to see prices for 2000-2005 models dropping to around 20-25k that I really sat up and took note. Its one of my dre...

Re: Tubby V`s Alfa Romeo GTV 3.0 v6

Well it was no match for the mr2. It wasn't by a car length or so either, were talking quarter of a mile or more on a 1 mile stretch. Any gear any speed the mr2 left it for dead. I even slowed up, let him race up to overtake then hit the gas, lift off to keep side by side then floor it and leave him...

As in avatar, rev2 turbo, however running rev3 engine. See garage for details.
Not any driver skill needed, straight 2 mile runway from different speeds, side by side, both hit loud pedal together, same gear etc, etc.
