Re: cable identification 4age..

The blue plug definitely looks like the one connected to the T-VIS. :-k

Re: Cleaning TVIS?

Cheers for that. I'll get some ordered. How difficult would you say it was to stripdown and rebuild the tvis? How many new gaskets did you buy as i need to get these ordered too? Cheers. :thumleft: The hardest bit is actually getting it off the engine, the inlet manifold is a right pig to remove. :...

Re: Lowest mileage mk1 in the world...!!

Nice car, but 10k.. I expect the only people interested in it would be collectors. There was a Helios Blue Mk1 that had done 35 miles, delivery miles basically. It had been sat in a Toyota deale in Sheffield all its life. Sold for 12k back in early 2007 I believe. There's no way you could drive eith...

Re: Rocker Cover Colour variations

MK1 Power, How did you polish them. They look fantastic. Well done, Tim Cheers! It was just various grades of abrasive paper from 80 - 2500 grit, a dremel, various sized sanding blocks, a drill + a polishing kit off eBay to finish it, some paint, masking tape, and of course, a lot of hard work! :lo...

Re: Rocker Cover Colour variations

Ive had mine polished but the company that did mine didnt get in between the lettering. Mirror finish tho [thumleft] The lettering is a bit of a problem. I tried, but soon realised it wasn't going to work, which is why I painted in and around them. It looks pretty good I think :thumleft: The proble...

Re: Rocker Cover Colour variations

Love the blue Supercharger covers! =P~ I did something a bit different with mine. Probably not something you'd want to do, but I thought I'd show you anyway. :) I've only finished one so far but I'd like to know what you think. :thumleft: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3199/3062367906_7dac0184dd.jpg...
