Re: [Mk2] [NA] Cusco Strut brace or OEM

Has anyone else mounted aftermarket strut brace in tandem with the Toyota OEM part?
How does it drive & what mod"s were necessary to make it fit?

What mods did you need to do to make them fit on top of each other?

I’ve bought a pair of Cusco strut brace of eBay over the weekend, It seemed like a great idea at the time, I’d been out Sunday lunchtime drinking & had beer glasses on! I Stuck a £90 max bid on & then fell asleep…. needless to say when I awoke I was the proud owner of second hand cusco brace...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Derestrict for track

Thats what I thought...Purple & White with a tiny silver band every 5cm or so!
Is there another wire i'm to cut as well as the purple/white?
I noticed the speedo still worked as it should as well as the limiter still cutting in

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Derestrict for track

One more question, I've just snipped what I thought was the speed input cable to the ECU & then went for a blast down the old airfield near us, but, the limiter still kicked in at about 112mph!! Any one know which wire I should be cutting? Obviously not the one I just have! I've got a 92 mk2 G-l...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Derestrict for track

Is there a cheap way of doing that, I don't really want to spend £100+ on HKS speed limit defencer or similar.......The car only cost me £600! I want to spend my hard earned on sticky rubber decat pipes & the likes. Any ideas?

[Mk2] [NA] Derestrict for track

Hi all,

I'm looking for a cheap way to derestrict my Mk2 NA import for track days, does anyone know weather simply swapping the speedo for one from a uk model would do the job?
Many thanks in advance

I was about to replace a wheel hub on my Mk2 G limited import when I noticed that the replacement hub I bought is different to the one its replacing, the splined hole through the axel shaft (inner hu...
