If i remember rightly he was using a later non-tvis engine and it posed problems. small port has an uprated oiling system so most of the + points are from the bottom end, stronger crank higher flow oil pump etc. google 4-AGE oil squirter for the info

it has a wire locking clip on it, you just have to push it inwards to release it, if thats unclear you can remove the clip by levering it out with a small flat bladed screwdriver, be careful not to drop it because it will need refiiting to lock the connector in place
