Re: £ 500 to respray a bonnet

£500 does seem a bit steep still though, for that price I would of thought they'd at least blend in the bumper and wings aswell?! A "proper" respray on your average Ford Focus style vehicle would come in at over £2k now: think about it, the cost of materials has risen, as has rent, as has...

Re: £ 500 to respray a bonnet

But to be honest it ain't that hard to do yourself if you have a clean unit or garage to spray it in. Re: Mint looking mk1

Buchanan Motor Company, walk away, no RUN away!!! Fancy looking adverts but that's it. +1 to that: they're deliberately aloof, and then overly verbose, all to "suit" the car they're selling. I went there to look at something else, I could have punched him for the wholly inaccurate downrig...

Re: Morethan Insurance

He said yea its a good job you didnt have and accident!!! Never using them again... You would have had no issue whatsoever on the basis that the contract had been accepted by both parties on the basis that you paid for the goods, i.e. the premium had been paid. However, the call centre attitude of ...

Re: Legal advice

Does anyone know his/my situation with this?? Thanks Firstly, ignore the nonsense regarding "sold as seen", "caveat emptor" etc: the law is quite clear in that you must always disclose any material facts that are relevant to the sale, or indeed material to the price of said item...

End the listing then: you either want to sell, or you don't want to sell.

I'm not a fan of the wheels, but the rest of it looks very nice indeed. I can't imagine it'll hang around very long.

The MR2 Turbo is an astonishingly good car for the money, the Countach on the other hand.......

Alternatively this story is a complete fabrication and didn't take place.

Does anyone remember JAE The Hood?
