Re: Alloy wheel advice please :o)

Thanks everyone for your help. I think I've got a better idea of what sizes to look at now. Now I've got some wheel shopping to do :D

Re: Alloy wheel advice please :o)

It has been lowered which I've been told can affect the handling. The only thing that concerns me is that I am being told the wheels should be staggerd. Whilst wheel shopping I just want to get the correct size and stagger but there seems to be a lot of variants

Re: Alloy wheel advice please :o)

They were very wide! They were Work alloys, Japanese I think but I can't get them anywhere. They were nice split rims. I damaged them when I hit a bit of water and lost the back end. The handling never seemed as good in mine as other mr2s I've driven which is why I want to get the size right

Alloy wheel advice please :o)

I am looking at putting some new alloy wheels onto my car as mine are damaged. I have a rev 3 turbo. I would like to put 16'' wheels on mine but I understand they are supposed to be staggared. I really like the Lenso RS5 alloys but when I give the tyre sizes from my old wheels I am having trouble fi...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Smelly Aircon

the smell is the bacteria that is set in the system been quoted £80 to sort it out Was it a specialist aircon place that quoted you? The trouble is, where I work I have the use of a workshop so I'd like to try and save some cash and sort it myself. I should probably just ring the aircon people n as...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Smelly Aircon

Yep, had it on recirulate with windows shut. It's weird because the temp gets really really cold...it just smells :( It is better since I bought the kit but it's still a bit smelly :? The reason I think it could be a blocked vent is cuz a guy I work with had the same problem with his car and the air...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Smelly Aircon

[quote="Mr2_NA"]You can get a gas canister thing that you set off in your car and set the air con to re-circulate with all the windows closed. That's what I bought from Halfords. It made it smell nice but that's about it :( The horrible smell iscoming back which makes me think I have a blo...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Smelly Aircon

Hi, Don't know if anyone can help me but my aircon is really smelly. It's a horrible damp smell and if I leave it a while it mists up the windows. I have bought an aircon cleaning kit from Halfords and that made it smell nice for a few days but thats it. I have heard that if the vent pipe is blocked...

Thanks to both of you. Yep that's the one! I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it so had to have it. And of course white is the best colour, it shows the lines of really well. I will be out cleaning it every day  I like the rev 5 spoiler but why dress it as something its not? Thats my opini...

Hi, I'm new :o) *pics*

Hi everyone, Just thought I'd introduce myself to the club. My names Deb and I'm 24 and I live in Gloucester. Just picked up my beautiful white mk2 rev3 MR2 turbo. I picked it up from a chap who I'm sure was a member here so some of you may recognise it. I'll be putting the rev 3 spoiler back on soo...
