lol thanks marty i am 26 although i have 7 years no claims. Insurance is about 900 a year (i have some points as well) through adrian flux, which isnt too bad with all the mods declared.
And yes the car is still here mate...

Dude is this my old car? If so your not running anything standard... As in not standard turbo, cam's, head port... so yes it will use LOT of fuel. Also the lamda was new about 5 month's ago. The fuel smell will primarily be down to the carbon canister removal. So the car will smell a bit more fuely...

think you might be right about the lambda sensor i will have to get it checked, im pretty sure the emissions are too high on it. The car smells very petrolly if you put your foot down! I put my foot down when i can but to be honest not all the time as i am on 30 roads a lot, so this confirms my susp...

MPG on Mk 2 turbo - is it really this bad!?
hi guys, just wondering what everyone is getting mpg wise on a mk 2 turbo? I was told that they do about 25-30 mpg, which i now think is complete b0ll0cks! Im not too sure exactly how to work it out, but basically if i put £20 worth of petrol in (about 18 litres) i am lucky to get 80 miles out of it...
