let me try a side mount first to see if it solves the problem..

if im selling my boot mount it will come with the following

1 - 19.5" x 12" x 3" intercooler brand new
7 - custom rally specific 3 ply hoses
all pipe work
2 large 10" fans
and a stack of jubilee clamps..

Car is currently in the spray shop so i cant test it until end of next week...

If it is the cooler causing the problem what would be a better soulution.. A charge cooler or a good side mount??

the cooler is a custom one off job... Im defo gonna try a mate greddy side mount and see if i cant get some sort of sence out of the turbo..

Would like to feel "quick" again!! :(

pipe work is all 2" from start to finish. The intercooler itself is 19" x 12" x 3" with 3" inlet and outlet holes. I had some 2" to 3" custom hose made up to fit. The car was last run a month ago with a std ct26.. since then i have done the following: Engine oil Oi...

Turbo is a new hybrid.

Larger compressor wheel
Larger Exhaust wheel
Lighter stronger shaft
360 degree bearing
Custom housing
Larger exhast housing
Different acutator
blah blah blah.... :)

might try a side mount cooler nad see what the difference is like :)

Like i said the pic isnt the most uptodate... All clamps are on!! :)

Air is getting to the boot via 2 vents on the boot lid and 2 huge fans 12" high power fans!

TVIS - disabled. The 20b is a "Toms" built turbo apparantly a "one off" rated at 380 bhp. The IC pipe work is about a foot longer than the orginal so there shouldnt be much difference in spool time to the throttle body.. The turbo spools and you can hear it spool but it just does...

Lag laggy lag lag!

Have a stage 3 CT20b on a rev 1 engine with a boot mount intercooler...

Full power does not come on untill about 5000prm... :(

No air leaks or anything silly.. any ideas how to reduce the lag???

Engine temp

My engine temp light has come up on my dash. The light is there from the moment i start the car till the moment i turn off.. i have allowed the car to warm up and it gets to its usual 90 degrees... It then passes this point and continues up and up till i turn the engine off (Not wanting to cause dam...

Hi guys, i need some samco or similar silicone hose today... im after:

2x 90 degree 51/52mm ID pipe (Blue)
2x 90 degree 76mm - 51mm ID reducer pipe (Blue)

anyone know where i could get this today.. im going on a road trip along the south coast today so anywhere around that area is good??!?!?!?

Hope it isnt syncros the car has only done 50,000 miles :( and it only happens if i really push the car to the redline (Which isnt often).. Will try this clutch rod as a rule out option and change the oil. Cheers guys..
