I think Extended slave rods only help if your having problems engaging gears full stop (i.e the bite point on you clutch is really low). Sounds like you have a synchro problem 
. Or as i'm sure what Andy was working towards perhaps the oil you have used isn't good enough.

Hope it isnt syncros the car has only done 50,000 miles and it only happens if i really push the car to the redline (Which isnt often).. Will try this clutch rod as a rule out option and change the oil. Cheers guys..
