[Mk2] [NA] Can someone supply some photos of a Rev3 N/A Engine
Hi everyone With my race car in bits and the engine out I am looking for some help in the final stages of putting the engine back in. The Head is now on as is inlet manifold etc.... but I have all these vacum (i think!) pipes and not sure where the all go or which part of the engine they attach to. ...

Re: Standard MR2 Wheels - does anyone know the weight of one?
Also

The wheels I am after only come in 7" width.

The standard MR2 wheels are 6" at front and 7" at the rear, will 7" all around make any difference provided they still use 195/50/15 at the front and 225/50/15 at the rear?

Re: Standard MR2 Wheels - does anyone know the weight of one?
Interesting. Thanks guys for helping me out,I just need to decide now whether its worth spending
£280 on them for 4kgs! The same as a set of Polycarb windows which may loose circa 15kgs or a lightened flywheel which wont loose much but will help the engine pick up better.

Any thoughts/recommendations?

Re: Standard MR2 Wheels - does anyone know the weight of one?
Tyres in the stock sizes will generally be in the region of 9 to 10kg weight depending on brand (I've weighed a few). If you weigh stock alloys with mounted tyres you will usually find the rears to be between 17 to 18kg and the fronts to be 15 to 16kg. So 6.8kg sounds about right for the front allo...

Standard MR2 Wheels - does anyone know the weight of one?
I am looking to purchase a set of lighter wheels and was just about to call the supplier to order and then noticed a website that said the MR2 standard wheels were only 6.8kg (15lbs) each! source: http://www.mx6.com/forums/racing-forum/73737-super-wheel-weight-guide.html Another site http://www.jeky...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Different Compression Readings across cylinders 1-4
Thanks Guys,I am going to first do the oil test and see what the compression is like after that.

Would the above figures cause substantial power loss?

[Mk2] [NA] Different Compression Readings across cylinders 1-4
Hello everyone Having been out dragged at Snetterton a couple of weeks ago by another rev3 engined MR2 i decided to check compression across the engine. [Mk2] [NA] Gearbox - advice and suggestions
Hello, its my first post and first MR2 so be gentle! I am due to complete a sale on a 1991 T-bar G-Limited for £500. The car is in good order except the gearbox has a small but annoying issue which I understand is common - shifting down from third to second is slow and there is sometimes a bauling s...
