This was a pretty standard car so by no means a 'showcar'. They pulled me up on the alloy wheels which were on the car when imported and charged me £266 !!!

I'm sorry but I cannot accept losing £2k in 9 months! :evil:

No it wasn't my fault Privilege are MY insurers. They will pay me the chq and recover the costs from the third party insurers (Norwich Union) so they're trying to cover their own backs! I will have to appeal via this Ombudsman (thx for the link) The accident was stressful enough and this farce hasn'...

DUMB QUESTION OF THE DAY :oops:

How do you know when you're overboosting? ie symptoms.
I have Apexi induction, 3 inch downpipe and HKS exhaust, yes the boost has gone up a couple of psi but is that a bad thing? More boost = more power doesn't it or am I missing something? #-o

Think it was the A41.... beautiful road sweeping bends and smooth new tarmac, great for a guy on 17's and lowered!!!! If ur down near that was u should try it one sunday sunny evening, the sun sets dead on one of the straights, american movie style!! And then onto the M40 which has got to be my fav...

I think the sound of the Apexi throws a few people, including me.
Its very different from the K&N I had on my previous car but then that wasn't turbocharged...

What about these 'Hybrid' dump valves which are coming on the market. They work 50% atmostpheric and 50% recirculating and claim to erradicate these problems with rev 1/2 s

Good idea or complete tosh????

well I spent the rest of the evening playing Need for Speed Underground 2 trying to set up the perfect driftcar. I'm working on a Nissan 180SX.
