Have you tested the battery with a multimeter?
I had a reconditioned alternator that was screwed as soon as it arrived, although it took a few hours to drain the battery.
If you say it's dead almost immediately, you'll be able to see the voltage dropping with a multimeter.

Both links are in the first post. Download the v0.9 first, then download the v0.91 patch and drop the files in and overwrite.

Re: rFactor Toyota MR2 AW11 v0.91 Public Release
Here is a v0.91 Patch I've been working on. Just extract the GameData file and then drop it in your rFactor folder and overwrite the bits from v0.9 when prompted. AW11 v0.91 Patch Download Patch includes: A complete overhaul of the V6 and Turbo physics which now make the car a lot more controllable,...

Re: rFactor Toyota MR2 AW11 v0.91 Public Release
Thanks Paul, the V6 and Turbo cars are quite tricky to drive in game! I've got a server set up running Snetterton 200 so it would be great if you could come on and do a few laps and give some feedback sometime. I know for a fact that the 2GR-FE gearbox has the wrong ratios, so could use some help th...

Re: [FINALIZED] MR2 MK1a Black Project £350
You've only just bought it! When you say it's a bit rough, what exactly does that mean? Are we talking a misfire, incorrect timing, or a dodgy lead, or something more serious like a bottom end noise? How is the underside? Any more rust apart from the arch? If you can get it MOTed I'm sure there's be...

Re: Wheels bearings and wheel alignment.
I've never heard of wheel bearings being tightened before. If they are 'loose' they need to be replaced.
Changing a rear wheel bearing should have no effect on the steering wheel position either. Very strange indeed...

Re: Still got rear end wobble
I'm by no means an expert here but could it be suspension bushes? Someone please shoot me down if I'm wrong but I'm experiencing a similar thing but on the front. Thought it was wheels so replaced them, then replaced brake discs as I thought they may have been warped. But it's still there. Alignment...

Re: Superedition project part 1 of 3 completed ~ Pic Heavy ~
Wow this all looks absolutley amazing! The bodywork looks really well done. I could do with something similar done to my car. It's maybe not as far gone as this car was, but it could still do with a tidy up. Just out of interest, how much would you estimate the body repairs cost and the respray? Wou...

Re: BBS Golf wheels?
Thanks guys! @ Ryan. The Lenso wheels centre bore is indeed 73mm and the MR2 is only 54mm. Annoyingly the spigot rings on the Lenso's were for a VW and were only 3mm out, but that's quite a significant distance in the engineering world so I've ordered some new ones in the correct size. The last thin...

Re: BBS Golf wheels?
Thanks Ryan. Will I definitely need spigot rings? The wheels I replaced were aftermarket TSWs and didn't have them as far as I know. These ones seem to fit ok and I've taken it for a quick test ride and it all feels fine. I ended up getting wheel nuts from eBay as they are the same thread size and d...

Re: BBS Golf wheels?
Not thought about centre bores but luckily they fit ok
Just need to find some suitable nuts now. I wonder if I take the old ones into a fabrication engineer they'll have something that would work, as they'll still need to be tapered.

Re: BBS Golf wheels?
Ok I've just picked up some Lenso BSX alloys and tyres for a bargain. They look awesome but my original wheel nuts are too long and I now can fit the centre pieces on!
Can anyone recommend some short ones, or will any nut of the same size do?

Re: Unique Mk1
It's definitely interesting! It doesn't look much like an MR2 anymore but I think it looks quite cool - apart from the rear lights! And I wonder what the bonnet vents are for? Maybe for when your spare wheel gets too hot?

Repeater lights, aerial, bonnet badge, wipers and jets all being added. We don't have any plans as yet to do the Mk1a yet, but we could easily do one for future updates. I would sure like to get all the variants in eventually. John has been modelling the interior the past few days and the results ar...
