Re: [Mk2] [NA] looking to buy a clutch kit for my n/a any know any good ones
i got an excedy clutch kit. Clutch became less stiff to operate but it's a much better drive now. It was the best value for money i felt.

Re: supra veilside wide arches....
photoshop it first, but I'm not so convinced. There's a US MR2 with wide arches at the back that looks sweet, but its not veilside. Its got a subtle kit on it that goes well with the rest of the car.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Will a 16x9" rear wheel @ ET +35 rub on a 40mm lowered car?
If your on eibach pros your not lowered 40mm. You've got 25mm lowering.
They should be fine. If worst comes to worst you could get the arches rolled, but im on 16" eibachs and the wheel isnt that close at the back. Its not like youre going rally driving either.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] mr2 diagnostic reader to laptop?
I heard that someone on here managed to get a serial reading to a laptop. Might have been by adding something to the ECU. Anyone have any idea who it was?

as long as you stagger your tyres you should be ok. I have Rota 7Js on just now with 205/45/16 at the front and 225/45/16 at the back.

check the wire at the back of the alternator. I had a garage faff about with testing things for ages and it turned out to be a loose wire i discovered myself.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Clutch slip
Theres a company in england doing it for 170 including the clutch. Mines costing 180 plus 80 for a clutch.
I saw it advertised on here I think, maybe in the traders section.

Can anyone in Dundee/Edinburgh change my clutch?!
So my clutch is bu88ered. And my AA coverage wont cover it because its 'wear and tear'. I can get an excedy clutch delivered by wednesday for 80 pounds, but i need someone to fit it. I could really do with having this done asap, and would be willing to pay. Garages are charging 5 hours labour at 40 ...
