[All] [Generic] mental mr2 for sale!

Post by lockys96 »

Has all the right mods for a mr2 you could hope for!

only posting as i noticed its one jurgen is selling, and he doesnt sell bad cars.

what a base car to get out there and have fun, would make over 400hp
on that turbo easily.

very well set up.

very nice has same problem as mine front bumper is different colour or is that normal 2's thing where bumper meets body its slightly different, the pipe that has dump valve on it looks a bit shoddy though and the pipes in the boot im just being picky and jealous :( :( :(

It's because they're different materials underneath so very difficult to colour match due to the colour 'behaving' differently.

Well no doubt some colours react better than others. Black is probably pretty good, my silver is only very slightly different in certain lights. My old azure blue was more noticeable but not terrible...

in through a hole in the floor - so fans will be "pullers". there;s already air channel in the back of the boot that will allow the air to vent out behind the bumper.

(that's my guess)

also, IC doesn't look small to me, probably covers at least twice as much space as a SMIC. 1000cc injectors - i reckon it;s pushed a right chunk of boost through that 3037, or he decided to future proof his fuelling requirements.

I know someone who has a intrest in this because it has stock long block, so no forgies am afraid [-X , and most of them come over with issue's as all the big power cars from abroad have done to date.
This has been used for track on stock internals, so might be on the limmit of possibly letting go

Greetings- newbie member I'm afraid

Yeh- I was tempted into buying it, it was the stock looks (barring the alloys) that swayed it...that and the apparent attention to detail in the mods that had been done, looks really well thought out- I was shopping for a supra at the time #-o

Expecting it in the country next month, and I will be fully inspecting it's condition before deciding what it's future will be...obviously keen not to kill it, and I do want to do it right

It is my first MR2, so I will be seeking plenty of advice on suggested mods to safeguard the engine's future

I would imagine uprated internals are the first thing on the list...suggestions?

Looking forwards to MR2 membership :D
