LOL!

Well actually it came about when i was trying to think of things i could mount the steering wheel to, so i had a look online and on some forum some guy mentioned using an ironing board.

It works well plus you can just lay it flat on the floor with the wheel still attached and plugged in. :+:

Good girl, Lauren :thumleft:

I did this at my mates house years ago, but didn't find the 'board was substantial enough. Moved around a bit.

All good though.

Thats a good idea actually but i could imagine it moving quite alot.

If your well into your driving sims have you ever considered buying an empty arcade machine? They come with wheel, pedals and seat plus the cabinet. You can pick them up for around 100 quid.

Just remove the onboard wheel and pedals, stick your own in there... Mount your console in it, fit your own wheel and pedals and get a cheap 28"/32" lcd to fit inside. Hey presto jobs a good un. :thumleft:

Exactly how small are your clothes? That ironing board is tiny! Do you actually iron clothes? I can only assume its part of some kids play maid set? ;)

Ultimate in strength and ridgidity.

50mm sq galv steel box section with cast aluminium clamps.

The seat has speakers in the headrest and a sub in the back. Sounds and feels great.

Also, easily dismantled.

I don't iron clothes, well not more than a couple of times a year.
