New M3

Post by Extubby »

So I pull on to a roundabout directly behind one of the new BMW M3's we approach a dual carrige way and I think that this will be interesting as I am going to get blown away. As we enter the dual carrigeway I turn up the boost ready. The car infront of the M3 moves over(we were both at 40mph at this point. At this point Mr M3 looks in his mirror with a little smirk, ready to show an MR2 who is boss. The back of the M3 squats down and it's off, the boost kicks in and the gap between us stays the same, snatch third and still the same margin, we carried on going a bit and he pulled about a cars length on me. The look on his face was a picture, he looked so shocked and p$$sed off.
I am shocked to say the least!Thats £500000 and 414bhp.

Not me personally altho i was in my mates Evo8 Fq300 and came up beside 1 at a set of lights. My mate launched it off the line and all the way up 2 ***mph. The M3 did eventually get past but not what i was expecting at all. The owners face was a picture, he even stopped afterward 2 see what my mate had done 2 it. (All standard bar the exhaust)

I really use to love pulling up to the light in my old flat mates skyline. (back in the day were only a few imported) It looks like and old boat...he pulled up with a new bmw m5 sport edition, The owner was a young guy. city banker with a lovley woman next to him, with this he decides it would be funny to make my flat mate look stupid....not realizing hes is a 650bhp & 540lb Torque under the hood....

The bm leads for a bit just for the turbo need time to kick in then....vooom gone bmw was hammering his new car....in 3rd the skyline pulled way and became a very small dot to him....love that feeling...15 yr old car smash the grany out of 50k car

and know he runs 800 bhp :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

I fear he couldn't drive.

1 bar on the tubby is not M3 territory. The guy probably hasn't wanted to "rag" his new car.

Probably an "Estate Agent" out enjoying the fruits of his commission money, only to realise that he needn't have spent all that coin to have ended up looking like a Bell End!

Mate has new v8 m3, I made a post about it somewhere. 10-125 (where my limiter kicks in) I probably gained about half a car on him.

You should try driving one though, they're in a different league dynamically. Amazing car considering it's a family saloon.
