Sod the environment hello better quality fuel ....when Maxol in Ireland introduced 5% biofuel into their unleaded petrol it jumped to 99RON. So by my reckoning 2.5% added to Super Unleaded should boost the RON upto 99, good news for tubby owners....

Well Tesco already add a percentage for their Whizz Bang fuel....
Re: [All] [Generic] Anyone else read this about biofuel ??
My local Shell is cheaper for V-Power than my local Tesco99...
I filled today at 111.6pence... Tesco, a month ago, was 117 a litre.
Why is that?

The only losers will be third world country's that are already having there crops overtaken by Big oil companies (shell, etc), which has pushed up price of crops so much that no can even afford to eat basic food.

And those countries who are forced to pay over-the-odds for 'green' fuels...

2.5% bio-fuel aint gonna do owt to the RON value. Its simply too little.
20% + may make a difference
