Drove a lambo on Sunday

I had the pleasure of driving a Lamborghini Gallardo on Sunday over at a track in Leicester.

My bro bought me one of those "Racing Day Vouchers" for my B'day.

Started the day in a BMW Alpina for a few tests laps and then into the Gallardo for some serious fun.

Shame it was a little bit wet but it was still an amazing experience.

Didn't think I'd like the paddle gearshift but after a couple of laps it started to feel completely natural. Whole car handled like a dream.

Certainly put my n/a into perspective.

Out of interest, was there a limit of RPMs? I did a ferrari expereience day once... it was crap, the ferraris were limited to about 5000 or 6000 RPM!

There was no limit on RPM as far as I could tell

That said, I wasn't driving it too hard though because of the conditions

(....didn't fancy writing off a car that costs more than my house )
