its an awful shame that you have to sell up after spending so much over the years....
looks like the new owner is going to get a very nice car indeed...

good luck with all future plans mate... :thumleft:

Have to admit although i've not seen the car - the spec list kind of persuaded me to go for this.. Even though i was on the look out for rev5 tubby from Japan.. this is the right colour with quality mods and i know Julian is probably as fussy as me about cars and has maintained this regardless which is why i'm counting down the days before i can go and collect this....

Had seen many 'modified' tubbys fr sale and was very close to buying the one jamesgtr has however although it is producing big bhp i thought it wouldnt serve me as i am after a daily driver which has to be totally reliable yet have the power there if the need arises..

Cant wait to meet you very soon Julian...

Hi m8,

Having spoken to Rash on the Phone, Im sure my 2 will be looked after :thumleft:

I am too, counting the days until my 2 has gone. Its gut wrenching, but I just got engaged, am getting married next September and marriages seem to cost circa £15K

Im sure I read somewhere that a couple organised their wedding for £1K but that was with ebay stuff....mmmm...mmm...

Your right about being fussy, im kinda obsessive compulsive about detail and didnt want a car that was OTT nor a boy-racer either.

Its subtle, yet has the power should you so need it and whats more, always looks slick when wet or sunny..*sniff*..

Anyways, look forward to meeting you Rash where a grown man (34yrs) will cry and a life of £500 corsa's or fiesta's beckon.

352@ hubs at Thor at 1.4bar.

I had it mapped on the raod when I had the cams redialled but never on the RR.

All I know is that Nod at Rogue Motorsport thought my car was now blisteringly quick!

Just a shame that its no longer gonna be in my hands

Never know, I may buy an standard turbo in a couple of years, just no modding :-$

Well done Julian, you have been a consistent active MR 2 enthusiast and achieved much with your passion, hobby, motoring, tuning, learnt a lot, shared a lot and has been a pleasure to have Interacted with you and shared some of those moments and times too. Even If the MR 2 moves on to another like minded enthusiast, you will still be a part of this club ethos and hope to still see you about here. Best Wishes.Harry. :D

Many thanks guys for your kind words and support!

I will be back, but probably in 1-2 years! By then I'll be bringing my nipper along no doubt to meets in my passion wagon!

Its been a pleasure owning my 2 and selling my car is a real gut-wrencher, churns me up, but needs must and priorities change...for now

I may venture to NA or perhaps a V6 woodsport conversion in a few years!

I'll pop on here from time to time, coz my brother is buying a 2, so will try come up to events in his

MY 2 was picked uptoday by her new owner, Rash

Was nice to meet you m8 and hope that my 2 gives you pleasurable service!

Thanks again everyone for all your help and assistance over the years, I still dont understand how the car worked, just loved every fooking minute driving her around with my ATS TDO6 planting my butt firmly into my Recaro seats and enjoying the thrill of my 352.4BHP at the hubs unleash the can of unadulterated whoop-ass on the streets of Kent!

Its been a great thrill to have a powerful car and I hope one day in a couple of years, I'll be back, but with a very sedate NA or standard turbo... O:)

Thanks one and all :thumleft: \:D/
