Ever thought of going to a Honda club and not coming back?

Dont get all shy or play dumb now Lauren...

I'm sure you realise I couldn't answer the question which is why I'm asking it... or was that a snipe at a site user with an mr2 again?

Sorry, you asked a question that i cannot answer, which is why i batted it back to you.

Its not a snipe at anyone. I don't snipe. What i can't allow for are others inferences whether they are well judged or not.

Responding to the original question.
I have had a Prelude 2.2 Si VTec (import) and the sound of the engine with the Vtec kicking in is superb. Its a milder Vtec punch compared to the 150bhp 1.6 Vtec which IMO sounds even better still.

They are superbly engineered.
The Prelude I had was a 4th Gen (the best looking by far) and I loved its value for money appeal.

The downside is that its FWD as ooposed to the RWD of the MR2.
I wouldn't say it is a Great or Stupid idea. its something you need to find out for yourself.
Remember that any turbo car is more costly to maintain than a N/A model....but can reward with some superb driving fun.

Having driven my friends standard rev turbo you can feel the MR2 is quicker than the Prelude. It sounds nice when idling too.......but not as nice as a Vtec Roar and the 4 pot engines sound great at all revs.

Tough choice but if you haven't yet had a turbo MR2 then go for it.....the fun factor is great. :D
