1991 Mk2 for repair/spares

My MR2 has just failed its MOT due to corrosion on the offside and nearside outer and inner sills. An advisory was given on the handbrake. I can’t afford to repair and maintain it any more.

I’d rather not send it to the scrap yard, so would like to offer it to anyone with the time and energy to either repair it (welding needed) or break it for parts.

She has always been a fantastic car to drive and still has many positives, but the effort is more than I have time for.

Clifford Concept 300 alarm/immobiliser
Black leather seats – good condition
Sony CD player with rotating front panel
Electric windows and mirrors – fully functional
Very smooth gear box – superb to drive

Looking for about £300-400. Open to sensible offers. Offer available for a short time only – I don’t want her stuck on the drive (it’s making me sad!).

How are the arches looking, are they rusted too?

I'm no expert, but the arches seem absolute fine to me. A good tug doesn't result in chunks falling off, and they aren't flakey!

Well im pleased to say that she is now road worthy having been properly welded and MOTed.
