I love this car - awesome choice of wheels neil. Have to say though, because the middles are white and the rim silver - makes them look a little odd...almost fussy even.
I'm not trying to be a dick - please don't take it that way.

Thanks for the comments!

when i got the rims they needed the centres re-furbing - the wheels were chosen because they are so similar to the original TRD wheels so wanted top make them slightly different, but to emphasise that they are not exactly the same, if that makes sense! :-k

Always liked white wheels so decided to go for this colour, personally i think they work really well against the blue! knew it would be a contentious choice though :oldtongue: no offence taken if anyone disagrees :)

so yes they are staying white for now! but if i get bored they can always be sprayed back to silver!

cheers

white and blue goes great together no doubt... but white and chrome does not sadly...

With the white being almost mat type of colour and the chrome being very 'bling' it just doesnt sit well in my eyes.. but then what do i know?

I drive a bora these days..

LOL my daily drive is a 1.5 diesel scenic.

The white is a glossy finish and the wheels are polished, not chrome! Again i knew there would be a fair few people who wouldn't like them! but I really am pleased with the colour choice!

Cheers Glen, can't wait to get it to some shows this year!

Agreed ... I can't wait for show season.

Thankfully, (almost) everything is at Woodsport now, so I should get it all finished before the shows.

Looks stunning mate!!!! I think white was a great choice to make the car stand out and have it's very own distinct style. I love it.

Thats a lovely car in a fantastic colour, but mate those wheels do nothing for it at all, infact I think they detract from the rest of the car. The width and offset looks right for the kit, but the diameter is too small and the white centre colour screams at the rest of the car. Also being a small diameter makes the centres look squashed, especially being highlighted in white.

Just my opinion though, as long as your happy then sod everyones opinion!

Hi mate,

yes they are Work equips,

fronts are :

17x8+24 with 235/40/17 Eagle F1 GSD3s

rears are :

17x9+24 (with 10mm spacer so effectively +14) with 255/40/17 Eagle F1 GSD3s

I got them second hand from RB wheels in America, exchange rate is great so made them a good buy. They have quite a high turn-around of wheels so worth checking there often!

http://www.rbwheels.com/index.php?main_ ... h=17_21_23

Offsets etc are in my garage aswell!

thanks for the info neil.......cant wait to see the car in the flesh.......shame about the rear off set...but a spacer is just as good i suppose.
i think my wheels would be the same as yours...in terms of mesurements
right down to the wheels and tyres only differents......i will have 13 offset rears..
been looking at rb wheels now for quite a while.......but never seem to see the wheels i want....+ they are way cheaper in maylasia....mine only cost £200
who delivered the wheels and did you have to pay tax duty........
i paid DHL...£250 for importing with insurance.....well i paid but the client set it all up from his end........now after the event DHL want £140 for tax duty.....i am currently disputing this high cost.......never imported wheels before......so was shock to have to pay more for a second hand set and not even from a dealer.......just a other car ethusiast.
cheers carl..

mine cost 125 for delivery and 125 for duty but were also quite a lot more than 200 to buy :-k

£140 seems high for £200 value  are they charging customs on your delivery costs?
