[Mk2] [Generic] My new rear almost finished!!!

Post by Enrico »

Albeit slow, my car is getting to look how I want it. Finally got rid of the rev 3 lights, gone for rev 1/2 smoked. I am having a smooth centre panel to match too but that is still at the painters, with the 2 side bits of the rev 1/2 spoiler to match the Autopista centre piece, but you still get the idea of the look I am after. I think it makes the car look wider & more aggressive, might not be to everyone's taste, but it's my car & I like it!!!

Looked again, now just how agressive does the rev 1/2 rear end look compared to the rev 3? :thumleft:

Ditto :D

Hasn't anyone come up with a centre panel yet for rev 1/2 lights? :? I think that would help update them a little... :-k

http://www.uploadit.org/my.php?image=ht ... yy-123.jpg Had a crack at tinting the rears a few weeks back. Just shows the difference between standard and a good few layers of tintspray. http://www.uploadit.org/my.php?image=ht ... yy-aaa.jpg

Cheers Harry, the same to you too.
If the weather is good I will be fixing the under bumper kit tomorrow, along with the cannards.

Hi Brook,

I have just bought a rev 3 in June and have binned the rev 3 lights for rev 2's as I prefer them:
