1992 4-500hp MR2 :0(

Post by Owen @ Kent Car Craft »

Hi peeps,
Its with regret that i find myself doing this but i think the time has come.
I havent been showing it the attention it deserves and it'll be much more appreciated in the hands of someone new.
The general spec is here although there is probably a few bits missed out..
1992 Rev2 MR2 Turbo.
HKS 272 intake/264 ex. cams @9mm lift.
Ported cylinder head
Stock valves
Cometic 1mm MLS headgasket
Ross Machine Racing forged pistons
balnced and shot-peened stock conrods
balanced and knife edged crank
TRD 4kg flywheel
spec stg3/4 clutch (good for 400lbft's)
stock rev3 LSD gearbox
eXtremeBoost tubular exhaust manifold
Tial 46mm external wastegate vented to atmosphere through drivers side vent (quite loud, but v.good)
Garrett GT3071r Dual BB turbo (v.low mileage,around 2k) with the .6 A/R hot-side.
full 3" stainless exhaust
Berk Technology rear exhaust section (also low mileage, rated as top flowing MR2 turbo exhaust with sound deadening)
Apexi Power FC controlled (with commander)
720cc top feed injectors
Custom large bore fuel rail with aeromotive remote Fuel pressure regulator
Ross Machine Racing billet large port centre-feed intake manifold
Ford Mustang 80mm throttle body
3" intake pipework
Boot mounted intercooler with spal fan
The above listed is a basic engine set-up,the body and wheels etc have covered v. little miles in the last 3-4 years (mainly to show and the odd drag racing event).I think the engine spec is only slightly different from Earl's when he made [email protected] with this turbo,i have a few more 'power adders' in there,Ryan mapped it to 1.9 Bar although it is rarely used/needed so i'm guessing the power to be on the fun side of 500FWHP.It has BBS LM wheels with locking nuts, lowered springs etc etc.The body was kept fairly standard due to the nature of the car and our business.I have since fitted clear indicators and sidelights to the front also. Its taxed for another 4 months and MOT's for much longer.

I'm gutted to be honest as i've had the car nearly 5 years and invested over £7k into it,plus endless nights of thinking/R+D but i fancy a change now.
Throw some offers at me,i'm looking at R32 GTR's and pretty much anything front engine RWD thats 'different' for PX's (literally, try me LOL).
I thought i would offer it here first before the inevitable..
It will be going on Ebay tonight *sob sob*
Thanks
Owen @ Kent Car Craft.
