paid by cheque but after phoning repli kit i have recieved a phone call from chopshop today saying that

"we've had a call from repli kit and i have check your parcel it was lost in the post with courier" and "they will send me a new one"

so only time will tell if I actually receive it.

If I would have paid through paypal I wouldn't even have an address (which is why i prefer not to use it) and the one time i was ripped off (by a lot - £1400) paypal only refunded me (£400) as that's all the could retrieve and without an address the only thing i had was the police (was of time in my case tbh)

Ok!!! <y point is that this would give buyers on IMOC even more confidence when they part with money also i think it would deter Fake traders if enough info was held on them!!!!

The situation i'm talkin about (TonI G) has already happened just thinkin measures should start comin into play :)

I sent emails to Danny using the two email addresses given when signing up and have had no response from either within the agreed time-frame.

As soon as one of the site admins can sort it, his account and status on IMOC will be suspended for breaching the terms of the IMOC Affiliation Agreement.

The Data Protection Act means we can't give out trader's details to members directly, however, should legal proceding be brought we would of course supply all details to the police or other legal body to assist with the investigation. As I understand it, this can only be done after a direct request from the police.

:thumleft: thanks for the reply (JMachling)

i would not think it would be wise to give personal details out to members as there are some nutty folks around us!!!
i just think nows the time to let traders know what stance IMOC is prepared to take with incidents like this also i think things like a valid home address and contact number should be available as well info kept of a living relative so it makes it harder for people to do a runner!!

They still have their photobucket pics up, with a girl in a few shots and in front of a house, if it's any help.

Good possible caption pics though. any thoughts? b1tch could at least have smiled.

Pity cause it looked like they had some other nice stuff in the pipeline.

Hope you all get your cash back somehow.

That's the exact cowling I received... bottom screw was chipped (which I knew about and, if you click on the photo to enlarge, the wiper arm stub doesn't sit centrally..

It also sits very high at the end near the passenger door. It needs to be screwed down too.. =;

Hi KM,

I also got one of their engine covers, fit is perfect to be honest ,but the finish was cr*p, the two vents on the top were different shapes and sizes, although it is fixable.

Are you going to keep and fit the cowling and do you think it's possible to attack it to get it to fit flush?

Cheers

It needs a few radii equalling on the edges and I think the end will come to with a bit of gentle heating... I'd do it, but I haven't the patience.. GRRR!!!!

Im thinking about it but its a bit of a tricky part to do hence why you cant find a decent supplier.

If I was to supply them they'd be a fibreglass shell coated in carbon, not sure what you were looking at if they were 100% carbon or not but on the plus side ours would be cheaper anyway.

Leave it with me and i'll have a think of some designs and post up when I have something for you guys :thumleft:

T.B.H. the only ones I have seen have been exactly that - fiberglass with a carbon skin. which would suit me okay :thumleft:
