[Mk2] [Turbo] Water inside window

Post by dawolf »

Hi all. I've noticed my rear passenger window seems to be letting a small drip of water in when it rains. Just a small drop so it's not a major problem but I'd rather get it sorted. I have a feeling the rear panel has been repaired at some point. Will it just be a case of changing the rubber seal or could it be a problem with the window? Could a windscreen company sort it?

Cheers.

Would a bit of silicon sealant do the job?

Worth getting it sorted. If water's getting inside then it's probably getting behind the panels too. Wouldn't be good for the tin-worm to get a hold.

I'm pretty sure they're sealed in place- may be some bolts too though.
