Now i know that the standard gauges are poo but i am wondering, when the car is standard, where the needle should go on the gauge, the reason i ask is mine seems to go to the top or least near to it...........

if you know its poo why worry? Buy a decent aftermarket gauge and then come back and tell us what you are getting

Yeah they're not very reliable. My standard one lags behind and takes forever to get up to the top but my Greddy gauge says it's hitting 0.9/0.95 bar which is max boost.

The stock gauge needle goes way past the maximum line on mine.
I use either my EBC or PFC commander to monitor boost.
