[Mk2] [Turbo] Handbrake troubles!...

Post by MR-Scott »

My handbrake doesn't seem to be applying enough pressure to hold the car from moving when applied.

With the handbrake on, i can still push the car, and if i park on a slight incline, im having to put it into gear to stop it rolling!

The handbrake itself still goes tight, but it is not far off vertical when it does. It seems like the rear calipers arent working properly.

Any ideas?

Cheers
Scott.

Stretched cable, take under trays off in the centre of car and tighten large centre bolt adjuster to the desired tighteness. :thumleft:
