We both pulled away from a roundabout, through to 4th gear, had to stop due to car and then pulled away in 3rd up to 4th again. Very surprised, it didnt pull away that much. It was faster, but not by that much. I imagine a turbo with 300bhp would be its match.(i.e. changing up too early, etc). 
amazingly rapid.

they weigh less than a tubby too so you'd need say 380ish bhp at least to match one. /1bar itz nice to see the Mk2 dealing with the cars from the BLair Era... I want one 
You have to get it just for the rev needle that changes colour.
