How would one go about turboing a 4AGE? is it one of those, 'it will cost thousands' things? someone here will know and maybe someone has?
what needs to be changed upgraded? everything?

I'm in no rush to rebuild the engine on my 1a, it can wait.
I'd love to build it into a turbo, yes a 1.5 is an option, but a 1.0 turbo could be great too...

Once you have a rust free bodyshell, the MK1.5 is a crazy proposition! A low mileage 3sgte in a mint MK1 really is tempting, quarter mile as standard has to be around 12.5sec, amazing. Are you raping the MK1 though, thats my question?!
No, I don't think so. Certainly for 1/4 mile work the Mk1.5 is awesome.
As far as trackwork is concerned it's all a bit unproven. But I will be able to answer that soon!
