Post by salim »

Hi Guys,

Just trying to get a Walbro 255ltr fuel pump fitted before the RR day at Weston Performance, but got no idea how much to pay to have one fitted?

How much have people paid to have there fitted?

Thanks

I've already sourced the pump from the states.

I have had a few mechanics give me quotes, but I don't want to be raped so best to be safe then sorry?

Come on guys, what's a fair price to have a pump fitted?

We can fit this for you EDIT...

WOW.. You have to be the quickest fuel pump changers in the west.

I dont think anyone else in the world could change a mr2 pump that fast.

Maybe on a supra tho you can

I 've quotes of £100 or around about there, a few cheaper ones but they had no idea were the fuel pump for the mr2 was as they never have fitted one, so best to avoid them.

cheers for your suggestions

Yeah i supplied the pump. Walbro 255lph from GTSChris. Heard its a 4-5 hour job for a go-slow mechanic. £100 is very good.

I costs nothing if you do it your self   sorry couldn't resist.

If i had the choice of doing my again i would defo think twice about it! if you have the spare cash and can afford someone to fit it for you then you would be a wise man :thumleft:

just my 2p's worth :D
