I've just read the sticker on my GTS about a special procedure for topping up the coolant and wondered what this is and if there are any other special things I ought to know about?

Cheers.

there are several bleed valves for getting rid of airlocks in the system and there IS a procedure to follow to do it, especially when totally draining and recharging the coolant.
two bleed valves are on the rad(i think) one on
(near) the engine and maybe one somewhere else.
.
.
so that you can bleed air of of the system
(it is a BIG system after all what with the rad up front)
there is a document detailing all this but i can't remember where it is.

Actually any glycol based coolant will do fine.It is not necessary to buy longlife at toyota prices.
